Seit 2011 treffen sich im Plattenladen Pop in Berlin jeden Freitagabend Menschen aus Liebe zur Musik, zu Konzerten, Ausstellungen und zum Tanzen – Musiker, Kritiker, Künstler und Lebenskünstler. Irgendwann entstand die Idee, die unterschiedlichen Talente auf einem Tonträger zusammenzuführen.
Das Ergebnis: „Pop – die Platte“ - 16 Titel, fast ebenso viele verschiedene Musikstile, knapp 30 Mitwirkende, 180 Gramm Vinyl mit CD-Beilage, Postkarte und Aufkleber, limitiert auf 500 Exemplare
